Decisions requested from leadership
On 11 October 2026 BCDA-UK asked the BCA Europe leadership for five decisions. None has been taken yet; we will report each one when it is.
- Adopt the 2027 vision, the three objectives and the affordability promise.
- Appoint the co-chairs of the Convention Preparation Committee and the steering group, and name a workstream lead from every chapter.
- Mandate the venue team to confirm De Vere Wokefield Estate for 29 July to 1 August 2027, with a contract by December 2026.
- Approve the Bali Pass and the front-loaded funding plan, with sales opening on the app by December 2026.
- Greenlight LelaHub for 1 December and the launch of Enabling our Bali Talent at the convention.
Money in plain words
No passes have been sold and no contracts signed, so income and costs to date are both £0. The plan is the prudent core case from August 2026: £75,000 income against £69,400 costs, leaving a £5,600 surplus to seed the 2029 convention. Money raised for the cause sits entirely outside this budget.
